About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven and ambitious person to embrace the role of Engineering Manager. You will be a key decision-maker in planning the company's technological development strategy and the responsible for managing the team on a day-to-day basis so that this planning is fulfilled. Project management will be a key component of your daily work tasks.
You will work closely with the company's CTO and lead a young, ambitious and very talented team.
What do we expect from you?
- Have an astute and critical view of the company's current and future technological strategy;
- Excellent ability to plan and manage the different projects under the Tech team;
- Lead technically and emotionally a team of hungry young developers;
- You'll be part of the Leadership team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as Operations and Business.
Requirements:
- +5 years of work experience in systems architecture: design and development;
- Background in scrum and agile project management;
- Experience and enjoyment in managing teams;
- Successful track record of obtaining and over-achieving goals in previous roles;
- Native Portuguese and fluent English;
- Experience working in a start-up environment is valued.
